Compressor Aerodynamics Expert
Aerodynamic systems play a crucial role in the efficiency and performance of aircraft engines. As a Compressor Aerodynamics Expert, you will be responsible for guiding innovation and optimization initiatives within our design teams.
You will work closely with R&T projects and new product development to ensure the performance and designs of aerodynamic systems meet our high standards. A key focus will be on designing and technology maturing for low-pressure compressors developed for new engine architectures in the CFM RISE program.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing technical expertise throughout all product life stages;
* Auditing and validating technical choices during design reviews and product validation for compressors;
* Contributing to the definition of R&T roadmaps by imagining future technologies and design methods required to achieve our long-term strategic vision;
* Maintaining and developing the design team's expertise by leading workshops, representing us within the Safran Group, and acting as a mentor for future generations of experts;
* Ensuring knowledge management within the teams by implementing tools based on client feedback and training teams regarding new design practices;
* Supporting teams in critical projects by providing your expertise to resolve technical crises and ensuring the quality and safety of our products;
* Developing a strong technical partnership with universities and research centers by developing your network and collaborating on research projects.
