Solution Architect
Driven analyst connecting IT, finance, and mobility
📍 Antwerp and Rotterdam | 🌍 International context | 💼 Full-time
Electric mobility is growing fast. And you?
Road transport and mobility evolve every day. You stand right in the middle of that change. You strengthen a forward-looking organization that builds digital mobility solutions for fleet managers and drivers. Here, it’s all about drive, trust, and daring to innovate.
As a Solution Architect, you connect business and IT. You bring structure to complex application landscapes, speed up integrations, and make sure new mobility services truly move customers forward.
Your biggest challenge
You dive deep into processes, data, and systems. You take ownership, keep the overview, and act as Expert/Product Owner across multiple projects at once. You connect people, technology, and partners—and turn change into progress.
1. From insight to impact. You lead the functional analysis of projects and new business initiatives. You understand business needs and processes and translate them into a robust, future-proof solution design.
2. Analysis that sets direction. You break down processes, assess the impact on systems under your ownership, and minimize risks for the organization and IT infrastructure. You think ahead, see connections, and dare to make choices.
3. From idea to delivery. You initiate change requests, align project estimates, and deliver technical implementations from A to Z in an agile and/or waterfall context. You take the lead in subteams and ensure timely, correct go-lives.
In larger projects, Project Managers handle the project framework—business case, budget, and progress. You focus fully on the product. You translate needs into concrete solutions and ensure the technical implementation works.
4. Clear solutions, clearly documented. You choose creative, simple solutions and document them clearly for users, development teams, and testers. Think SaaS and custom-built solutions, ecosystems, and API platforms.
5. Control and trust. You act as delivery manager and key contact for external partners. You manage priorities, monitor SLAs, steer performance, and keep budgets under control.
6. Testing and quality first. You own the functional test plan, support end-to-end testing, and guide the business through user acceptance testing. Quality leads every step.
7. Connection at every stage. You switch smoothly between business and external development teams, explain solutions, and guide them through the full implementation cycle.
8. Steering progress. For smaller projects without PMO involvement, you keep tight control. You report clearly to the Project Portfolio Board, flag risks early, and adjust fast.
9. Support with impact. During major incidents or complex data and reporting questions, you support operations. You help teams steer, grow, and excel—and you create impact.
You make this role meaningful by taking responsibility, building trust, and making digital transformation tangible.
