As an Inventory Planner Natural Foods, you play a key role in ensuring the right stock is available at the right time. By working closely with production, suppliers, and sales, you help achieve an optimal balance between availability and costs. With your proactive approach, you contribute to a smooth supply chain and sustainable results.
1. Managing and creating purchase orders for production plants, co‑manufacturers, and suppliers based on aligned planning with the demand planning teams.
2. Monitoring and analysing inventory levels to ensure optimal availability and service levels.
3. Proactively communicating about supply and expiry risks and contributing to the implementation of robust inventory management processes and best practices.
4. Aligning with internal production and supply chain teams to follow up on production plans and to identify and mitigate potential supply risks in a timely manner.
5. Monitoring production and transportation flows and ensuring accurate and up‑to‑date data in SAP.
6. Continuously improving and further automating the replenishment process, including optimisation of planning parameters.
To be able to achieve the above and be successful in this role we believe you need to have:
7. You hold a bachelor’s degree in a business‑related field.
8. You have at least one to two years of experience in supply chain planning, preferably in an FMCG or retail environment, and are familiar with working in a logistics‑ or transport‑oriented customer service setting; knowledge of SAP is a plus.
9. You have strong verbal and written communication skills in English and collaborate smoothly with various internal departments.
10. You work independently and proactively, with a strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
11. You are able to set priorities and work efficiently in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
