About the role
We're seeking our first Finance Lead to seize the thrilling opportunity to transform our finance department as we scale to 10M ARR.
Our Finance Lead will be at the helm of shifting from compliance focus to strategic finance, becoming a key contributor to the pulse of our business.
This role is not just about filling a position; it's about shaping the future of finance at Payflip, building scalable processes, and driving significant strategic impact in a company that is set to revolutionise the way salaries are managed.
Your responsibilities will concretely include:
* Manage cash flow and strategic financial planning, including budgeting and fundraise support
* Lead monthly reporting cycles and establish comprehensive management reporting dashboards for team and investors
* Drive optimization of our finance tool stack (Stripe, EOL, Silverfin) together with our product team to automate processes and reduce manual workload by 70%
* Internalize core finance operations from external partners, focusing on controlling and establishing clear financial processes for scale
Next to the strategic and analytical part of the role, you will not hold back to implement innovative solutions that will set up our finance function for success. Together with Payflip's leadership team, you are determined to build the financial backbone that will support thousands of Belgian employers in their salary management journey 🚀.
About you
We are looking for a finance enthusiast with 3-7 years of experience in finance/accounting within a company context, preferably in fast-growing SaaS companies (+5M ARR). Mastering financial modeling, budgeting, and process optimization is part of your DNA, and your affinity with strategic finance and business recommendations is sky-high.
