Your new role As
Senior Accountant, you will take ownership of a broad range of accounting processes, ensuring compliance with
BEGAAP
and
IFRS. Your responsibilities include: Managing general accounting activities: AP, AR, payroll postings, fixed assets, project accounting, revenue recognition, and
tax‑related
entries Preparing
monthly
and
year‑end closings Ensuring accurate statutory and group reporting Coordinating mandatory declarations such as
VAT
and Intrastat Handling internal and external audit requests Supporting annual accounts and income tax submissions Preparing
internal reports
and intercompany reconciliations Analyzing business transactions and identifying potential process improvements Maintaining clear communication with internal and external stakeholders in
Dutch, French
and
English In this role, you will act as a key reference point and the right-hand and sparring partner to the CFO.
Your profile You have a solid finance background and feel comfortable taking ownership of end‑to‑end accounting processes. The ideal profile includes: A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent field At least 7 years
of relevant experience in
general accounting, preferably in an international environment Strong knowledge of
BEGAAP
and
IFRS Fluency in
Dutch
and
English, professional level of
French Experience with ERP systems; knowledge of BI tools and advanced Excel skills are an asset.
