Mission.
Responsibilities
1. Manage the daily operations of the group life back-end application running on the mainframe.
2. Deliver projects within agreed timelines.
3. Monitor and follow up on daily incidents (low volume).
4. Contribute to technical and functional documentation through code analysis and application behavior review.
5. Implement simple, structured, and efficient solutions.
Required profile.
Profile
6. Bachelor’s degree in IT development or equivalent experience.
7. At least 3 years of experience in IT solutions within life insurance.
8. Excellent command of French or Dutch, with good knowledge of the other national language, and comfortable working in English.
9. Strong knowledge of COBOL / DB2; experience with mainframe environments and/or group life insurance is an asset.
10. Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
11. Rigorous, organized, able to manage priorities and meet tight deadlines.
12. Able to learn quickly and work at a sustained pace in a dynamic environment.
13. Analytical mindset, solution-oriented, and results-driven.
14. Able to communicate with all types of stakeholders and present results clearly to senior management.
