Are you a passionate IT Security Engineer with strong experience in Microsoft technologies and a deep understanding of cybersecurity? We're looking for someone like you to help strengthen our digital security posture and support the further development of our security strategy
As an IT Security Engineer, you will be jointly responsible for managing, maintaining, and improving our security solutions, with a strong focus on the Microsoft Security stack. You will work closely with IT colleagues, the CISO, and external partners to detect, mitigate, and structurally resolve security risks. You will also play an advisory role in other IT projects and help promote our security policies across the organization.
Your Responsibilities
1. You will manage and monitor Microsoft Security components on a daily basis, including : Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Defender for Identity.
2. You will analyze security events and alerts, actively follow up on notifications and vulnerabilities, and propose improvement measures.
3. You will execute and follow up on incident response activities and perform proactive threat hunting.
4. You will coordinate and follow up on security-related tasks and tickets with other departments.
5. You will contribute to identity and access management through the implementation and support of Conditional Access, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Privileged Identity Management (PIM).
6. You will oversee and implement configuration changes in alignment with security guidelines and organizational policies.
7. You will stay up to date with developments and changes within the Microsoft ecosystem, especially those related to security.
8. You will promote and enforce security policies and act as a trusted advisor for colleagues and other departments.
9. You will maintain clear documentation and ensure all security controls are correctly implemented and recorded.
10. You will track and report on device compliance, Microsoft Secure Score, asset inventory, and the lifecycle of systems and applications.
11. You will help manage security incidents by identifying, documenting, and responding according to defined processes and procedures.
You have the following skills
Required Skills
12. You have knowledge in Microsoft Entra ID, including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Conditional Access.
13. You have knowledge in Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) and Intune.
14. You have knowledge in Microsoft Defender for Cloud, including its configuration, monitoring, and alerting features.
15. You have knowledge in Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, including threat detection, response, and vulnerability management.
16. You have knowledge in Microsoft Defender for Identity, including the detection of identity-based threats and anomalous behavior.
17. You have knowledge in Microsoft Azure, with a focus on security services and best practices.
18. You have knowledge in Active Directory and ADFS, and understand how to secure identity infrastructures.
19. You have knowledge in Fortinet technologies, particularly firewall configuration and security policies.
20. You have knowledge in VMware environments and their security configurations.
21. You have knowledge in Cisco switching and fundamental network segmentation and protection.
22. You have knowledge in Identity and Access Management (IAM), including role-based access control and privileged access.
23. You have knowledge in security threat hunting, incident investigation, and mitigation techniques.
24. You have knowledge in operational security monitoring, tracking compliance, and responding to alerts.
25. You have knowledge in managing device compliance, maintaining asset inventories, and performing lifecycle management for systems and applications.
26. You have knowledge in creating, maintaining, and enforcing security controls, processes, and documentation
Languages : Dutch AND English ( French is a plus )

27. You have at least 4years of professional experiences in IT Security
