Your Mission
As a Model Cars Expert, you will curate high-quality auctions that attract engaged bidders and trusted sellers. Your expertise ensures each lot, whether vintage or recent, is relevant, accurately valued, and aligned with collector expectations. You contribute directly to the growth and success of your category by combining specialist knowledge with commercial judgement, maintaining transparency and building strong relationships within the model cars community.
What You’ll Do
4. Evaluate and arrange model car lots submitted by users, ensuring each auction features attractive and relevant listings
5. Create compelling weekly lot selections using your expertise and professional network
6. Review titles, descriptions, and images to assess quality and provide accurate estimated values
7. Safeguard transparent and fair transactions through consistent expert evaluation
8. Communicate rejections professionally and diplomatically, maintaining strong seller relationships
9. Collaborate with Sales to attract new sellers and diversify the range and quality of lots
10. Partner with Marketing to increase bidder engagement and visibility for your auctions
What You’ll Bring
11. Expert knowledge in Model Cars, both vintage and recent
12. Strong commercial acumen and documented commercial experience
13. An eye for trade and value within the collectibles market
14. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to act diplomatically in user disputes
15. A network of potential sellers and experts within your field
16. Good computer skills and confidence working with digital tools
17. Good command of English, written and spoken
Where You’ll Be
This is a 100% remote role that can be based in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain, or the United Kingdom.

Our Offices and Way of Working
Our vibrant offices in Amsterdam, Paris and Lisbon are designed to inspire collaboration. Most Catawikians operate in a hybrid setup, combining office-based and remote work, with a minimum of two days per week in the office, unless a role is explicitly stated as fully remote or fully office-based.
