The Role
We are looking for a Senior Ops Engineer to join us in our Support department. You will be working hand-in-hand with our VP Engineering in an exciting position, helping design and maintain expertise in the flow of application processes and systems related to the company.
The ideal candidate is passionate about tech, carefully tweaking products and features to drive maximum impact. The job will require getting your hands dirty through critical operations to keep our tech products running smoothly, investigating and understanding the root cause of issues, supporting other teams, and helping in product delivery; all that in the fast-paced environment of a growing startup.
Your responsibilities
* Manage and resolve operations for our system issues & limitations, provide updates, and perform root cause analysis.
* Identify & report problems by observing and studying the functioning and performance of our systems.
* Provide technical support and guidance on operations validation to other teams: Finance, Community & Property. Keep documentation up-to-date.
* Assist in the development and maintenance of operational procedures to improve effectiveness.
* Help in the development to delivery: fixes, feature improvements, and low-code complementary tools.
What we’re looking for
* At least 6 years of experience in a similar or relevant role
* Great research and reporting skills and a strong ability to follow internal procedures.
* Technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web/mobile technologies.
* Strong understanding of SQL, Node.js, and API integrations.
* Good analytical and problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done.
* Understanding and/or hands-on experience on finance/payments; previous experience with Stripe is a big plus.
* Previous experience at a fast-paced tech startup.
* Full working proficiency in English.
