Purpose of the job
To maintain and take good care of ASL fleet in accordance with the highest standards, and with focus on safety, reliability and on-time performance.
The purpose of a Preparation Officer is to plan, coordinate, and prepare all necessary technical documentation, tooling, materials, and resources required for maintenance tasks to ensure aircraft maintenance work can be executed efficiently and without delays.
Main tasks and responsibilities
WORKS PREPARATION
* Ensure the preparation of the checks performed internally and subcontracted (checks A included).
* Review and complete the received workpacks (SB's, AD's, etc…).
* Ensure the coordination with the customer in case of unclear, missing or incorrect technical instructions. Ensure the follow-up of the requests or re-launch the concerned departments.
* Participate in the Weekly planning meeting.
Internal compliance
* To comply with all relevant divisional and local company related policies, procedures and legal requirements.

* At anytime and anywhere, to perform the activities and display the behaviors that are designed to deliver a distinctive Customer Experience.

REQUIREMENTS
Essential Educational and / or Training Qualifications & Certificates
* High school diploma (or equivalent) with aviation-specific training.
* You have a clean certificate of good conduct (required for work on airport sites).
Preferred Experience and Knowledge
* Experience as Preparation Officer or minimum 8-10 years' experience in the aeronautical area (gained through your experience as an aircraft technician)
* Thorough knowledge of PART-145 regulations.
* Knowledge / experience with AMOS software.
Necessary Technical / Functional Skills
* Strong results-orientation combined with customer service mindset.
* Familiarity and experience of using IT systems including the MS Office Suite.
* Good planning and organizing skills.
* Good knowledge of English (spoken & written) is a must. French or Dutch will be desired, depending on operational site.
* Ability to work under pressure. Can-do attitude.

Working Conditions
: Full-time permanent contract, standard working hours.
