Freelance Senior Network Engineer responsible for leading and delivering network and infrastructure projects, combining hands-on technical expertise with practical project coordination / Project Management. Focused on designing secure, scalable solutions and ensuring smooth delivery across multiple initiatives.
Responsibilities
* Lead network and infrastructure projects (LAN/WAN, firewalls, connectivity, third-party access).
* Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
* Review and challenge designs from vendors and internal teams.
* Deliver multiple infrastructure projects in parallel, ensuring timelines and quality are met.
* Coordinate teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
* Track progress, resolve issues, and provide clear status updates.
* Stay hands-on with technical work and support implementation where needed.
* Ensure proper documentation, handover, and operational readiness.
Required Experience
* Strong background in network and infrastructure engineering.
* Solid knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN, routing, switching) and security (firewalls).
* Experience delivering infrastructure projects.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities independently.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
