Overview
As a Program Management Officer (Quality & Process Improvement), you will contribute to the development and implementation of structured ways of working across infrastructure projects and asset operations. You will support the deployment of the quality roadmap, which aims to strengthen the organisation’s quality maturity and embed quality practices end-to-end across the project and asset lifecycle. In this role, you will work on improving how quality is managed in practice: from capturing field feedback and managing non-conformities to supporting process improvements, tools and quality governance. You will operate in a dynamic environment where quality is evolving from fragmented initiatives towards a structured and data-driven system. This requires a pragmatic mindset and the ability to translate quality principles into practical solutions. You will join a multidisciplinary quality team working closely with project teams, technical experts, asset teams and contractors.
Function
More specifically, this role involves the following tasks and responsibilities:
* You contribute to the implementation of the improvement roadmap by leading or collaborating initiatives across different domains (processes, tools, governance, data and competence development).
* You take ownership of quality-related projects, assuring they are delivered on time and aligned with the defined objectives and maturity ambitions.
* You support the development and improvement of key quality processes, including non-conformity management, return of experience (REX) and other continuous improvement projects.
* You help structure and improve the capture of quality feedback from the field, ensuring relevant information is collected in a consistent and usable way.
* You contribute to the definition and implementation of practical quality tools (e.g. digital checklists, dashboards, reporting tools), with the objective of improving both execution and monitoring.
* You participate in the analysis of quality data and help identify trends, recurring issues and improvement opportunities.
* You collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders (project leaders, site teams, technical experts, asset teams, contractors) to align expectations and ways of working.
* You facilitate or support workshops and discussions to clarify processes, align stakeholders and drive improvements.
* You contribute to strengthening the quality culture by promoting clear communication, structured problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Skills
* You have a master’s degree (engineering sciences, business management oriented or equivalent) or relevant experience in a project, process or technical environment.
* You have 3 to 8 years of experience in roles such as project support, PMO, process improvement, coordination, quality management or similar.
* You have experience working in project-based or operational environments and are comfortable supporting or managing initiatives end-to-end.
* You are structured and result-oriented, and able to bring initiatives to completion.
* You have strong stakeholder skills and can work with different profiles across the organisation.
* You have a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset and are comfortable translating high-level objectives into concrete actions.
* You are proactive, curious and willing to learn how things work in practice.
* You are comfortable working in environments that are evolving and not yet fully defined.
* You are fluent in Dutch or French and have a good knowledge of the other language. Knowledge of English is an asset.
Desirable qualifications
* Experience or affinity with quality management, continuous improvement or structured problem-solving.
* Familiarity with quality concepts or standards (e.g. audits, non-conformities, improvement cycles).
* Experience with agile or iterative ways of working.
* Onsite presence: 2 days of physical presence on site / week by default is required
