You will be responsible for initiating, structuring, and guiding strategic projects that drive business growth and transformation. With a strong financial mindset and solid business acumen, you maintain oversight of complex challenges while staying pragmatic and hands-on. You combine conceptual thinking with operational effectiveness, developing and validating strategic business cases and translating them into concrete implementation plans. Acting as a bridge between strategic vision and operational reality, you work closely with senior stakeholders across the organization—including leadership, finance, corporate development, operations, and external partners—to ensure that strategic choices lead to successful execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and coordinate strategic initiatives and transformation projects from inception through to implementation.
2. Develop and validate strategic business cases, including performing the market analysis, financial modeling, risk assessment, and ROI evaluation, and data visualization and presentation.
3. Assess opportunities for business growth, including organic expansion, synergetic collaborations, M&A, and strategic partnerships, to drive market entry new geographies, customer segments, or verticals.
4. Potentially provide guidance and oversight on post-merger integration projects,
ensuring the realization of expected synergies (where applicable).
5. Act as a strategic sparring partner to senior management, and collaborate in the teams and with the teams to
help shape strategic priorities and translating them into actionable roadmaps.
6. Ensure strategic and growth initiatives are embedded within the corporate structure,
including change management, governance, and track own project performance.
7. Continuously monitor industry trends, competitor dynamics, and innovation to proactively identify growth opportunities.
8. Build and maintain a strong internal stakeholder network as well as relationships with external partners, consultants, and potential acquisition targets.
9. International travel up to 25% depending on the project mission
Education and Experience
10. Master’s degree in economics, business administration, applied economic sciences, engineering, or equivalent through experience.
11. 5-7 years of relevant experience in hands-on project & strategy execution, corporate strategy, or business development.
12. Demonstrated experience in building and leading synergetic business cases.
13. Proven track record in managing cross-functional projects within a corporate environment. Proficient in project management and change management.
14. Experience in M&A and integration is a plus.
15. Fluent in English and Dutch.
