Skills, knowledge, experience required:
* A minimum requirement of a Master's degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline and 3 years post-related experience, the lack of a university degree may be compensated by the demonstration of a particular abilities or experience that is/are of interest to NCI Agency, that is, at least 10 years extensive and progressive expertise in duties related to the function of the post.
* Proven 3 years' experience as a Software Licence Manager, Software Licence Consultant, or similar role.
* In-depth knowledge of Tier 1 software vendor licence practices. Experience in service level management and continuous service improvement.
Duties/role:
* Assisting in developing, implementing, and maintaining IT asset (software) management processes, ensuring accurate tracking and documentation of all software assets throughout their lifecycle
* Explaining complex software licensing issues to non-IT staff and ensuring understanding is gained; running training or leading presentations for non-digital staff when required
* Ensuring confidentiality is always maintained and staff adhere to the Data Protection Act, Freedom of Information Act, and NATO Security Principles
