For a mobility customer, I am searching for a freelance Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for the daily preventive maintenance of approximately six (6) traffic signal controller sites per day. The role involves a structured, checklist-driven maintenance routine and requires a high level of independence, technical discipline, and field experience.
Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance on 6 traffic signal controller cabinets per day.
Follow a standardized checklist to inspect and verify installation condition.
Measure and verify loop detector signals using a multimeter.
Connect to the controller system via laptop to check software functions and signal behavior.
Clean the controller cabinet and inspect for signs of wear or failure.
Conduct on-site validation of signal operation in the field (visual confirmation of traffic flow and lights).
Log and report findings in a structured format.
Escalate technical anomalies or damage to the central maintenance team.
Profile
Technical background in electronics, electromechanics, or infrastructure systems.
Practical experience with field maintenance, preferably in traffic systems or similar installations.
Capable of working independently without on-site supervision.
Familiarity with diagnostic tools such as multimeters and configuration software.
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
Valid driving license.
