At HAYS, we are working with a leading company in the automated instant-service equipment sector.
We are currently assisting them in the search for a Technical Manager.
Responsibilities:
* The Technical Manager is responsible for operations within his/her assigned territory (covering multiple regions). He/she ensures that corporate objectives are met in terms of both revenue growth and equipment uptime within their area. He/she strives to continuously enhance team efficiency (productivity, parts consumption, etc.) and the quality of machine maintenance (technical, cleanliness, marketing).
Team Management and Development
* Organizes, leads, and oversees the work of the technicians (activity planning and tracking, urgent client issues, project follow-up, priority management, etc.).
* Anticipates recruitment needs to address increased workload or performance issues. Responsible for staffing within their perimeter (budget, costs, on-call duties).
* Develops team skills and performance (evaluates staff, provides on-the-ground guidance, identifies training needs).
* Facilitates resource sharing between regions when necessary (instructions, installations, etc.).
Site Performance Analysis and Development
* Analyzes regional performance (continuously, using telemetry) and makes necessary decisions to improve results (machine replacement, sector organization, individual performance, requests for additional machines, etc.).
Monitoring and Control of Field Teams and Equipment Functionality
* Oversees machine reliability within regional territories: identifies machines with issues, assesses need for preventive maintenance, and proposes exchanges.
* Ensures that teams follow optimal procedures and implements a suitable control system (audits of photo quality, car wash visits, cabin cleaning, marketing element condition, etc.).
Requirements:
* At least 5 years in a similar position.
* Experience working directly with industrial machinery.
* Good level of English.
* Availability to travel. Travel volume: 3 days a week aprox.
