We’re looking for an experienced .NET Developer to join a growing team and contribute to impactful projects in the debt collection sector. This is a long-term freelance opportunity.
Logistics:
* Position: Freelance .NET Developer
* Duration: Long-term engagement (initial contract with high likelihood of extension / permanent payroll option)
* Day Rate: €(Negotiable & Competitive)
* Location: Brussels (Hybrid – onsite presence required)
* Languages: English & French (strong working proficiency required)
* Start Date: ASAP / within the next 4–6 weeks
Core Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain robust applications using .NET / C# frameworks
* Contribute to technical architecture and coding best practices
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to capture requirements and deliver effective solutions
* Optimise application performance, scalability, and maintainability
* Support domain-specific functionality within debt collection systems
* Work closely with the project team on enhancements and new features
Essential Skills:
* Proven experience in .NET / C# development
* Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices
* Familiarity with financial services / debt collection business is a strong asset
* Good knowledge of French (spoken & written)
* Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
* Team-oriented, with the ability to work independently
