Senior RF Engineer - mmWave Technology
We are looking for an experienced Principal RF/mmWave Design Engineer to lead our mmWave ASIC design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge mmWave ASICs using advanced technologies such as CMOS and SiGe.
Key responsibilities include:
• Taking the lead in mmWave ASIC projects from feasibility study to implementation
• Guiding and supporting designers in the team
• Defining specifications, selecting architectures, and performing system-level design of mmWave modules and components
• Creating circuit designs, layouts, and verifying mmWave building blocks
• Conducting 2D and 3D EM simulations for interconnect, passives, and packages
• Providing clear and concise reporting and interacting with customers
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in electrical engineering with a focus on analog, RF, and mmWave ASIC design. A minimum of 10 years of experience in transistor-level RF/mmWave IC design is required, as well as expertise in leading IC design tools such as Cadence, ADS, Synopsys, or Mentor.
Additional requirements include:
* MSc or PhD in electrical engineering with a focus on analog, RF, and mmWave ASIC design
* 10+ years of transistor-level RF/mmWave IC design experience in CMOS, SOI, and/or SiGe
* 10+ years of IC design experience for production (PVT variation, electromigration, aging, DFM) and full design cycle: specs to measured silicon
* Expert knowledge and experience with leading IC design tools: Cadence, ADS, Synopsys, or Mentor
* Extensive lab experience
* Proficient in a scientific scripting or programming language (e.g., Matlab, Python)
