Role Description
The Interim Head of Treasury is a contract, hybrid role responsible for leading and overseeing the organization’s treasury function. This position will manage daily cash and liquidity operations, including cash positioning, forecasting, and working capital optimization. The role will develop and implement treasury policies, oversee bank relationships, and ensure efficient payment, collection, and investment processes. Responsibilities include monitoring foreign exchange and interest rate exposures, executing appropriate hedging strategies, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and relevant regulations. The Interim Head of Treasury will partner with Finance and senior leadership to support funding decisions, capital structure planning, and treasury‑related reporting, while providing clear analysis and recommendations to stakeholders.
Qualifications
Strong treasury management and cash management skills, including liquidity planning, cash flow forecasting, and working capital optimization.
Solid finance knowledge with experience in corporate finance, capital structure, and banking relationships to support strategic funding decisions.
Proficiency in hedging and risk management to manage foreign exchange, interest rate, and other financial risks.
Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data, model scenarios, and present clear insights to senior stakeholders.
Experience leading a treasury function or similar senior treasury role, ideally in a multinational or fast‑paced environment.
Strong understanding of treasury systems, banking platforms, and relevant regulations and internal control frameworks.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams and senior leaders.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
