Our client, an ambitious player in the gaming sector, is searching for a talented .NET Engineer to strengthen their growing development team. They are building a powerful platform already trusted by large-scale gaming consumers across Belgium, with clear ambitions to expand further into the Netherlands and the wider European market.
In this role, you will play a key part in building and improving the backbone of the platform. Day to day, this means working on scalable solutions in C# and .NET, while also bringing in knowledge of ASP.NET, .NET Core and ideally GraphQL to push the technology forward. It’s a chance to make a real impact on a product that is improving the way gaming platforms are run at scale.
Responsibilities
* Design, develop and maintain core features of the gaming platform using C# and .NET.
* Work with ASP.NET, .NET Core, and (where possible) GraphQL to deliver scalable solutions.
* Collaborate with product owners, designers and fellow developers to turn ideas into high-quality features.
* Contribute to architectural decisions and technical discussions as the platform grows.
* Ensure code quality through testing, reviews and continuous integration.
* Support the expansion of the platform as it scales across Belgium, the Netherlands and beyond.
Your Profile
* Strong background in C# and .NET development.
* Experience with ASP.NET and .NET Core; familiarity with GraphQL is a big plus.
* Solid understanding of software design principles, best practices and scalable architectures.
* A problem-solving mindset with a proactive and hands-on approach.
* Comfortable working in a collaborative, agile environment.
* Genuine interest in the gaming industry and enthusiasm to build technology used by thousands of players.
