In this role, you are the linchpin of our project team. No two days are the same, and you ensure that everything runs smoothly from start to finish. You dive into the tender dossier (specifications, plans, etc.) and extract what is needed to kick off the project successfully. Together with the relevant parties, you establish the project planning and workflow. After the kick-off, you further develop the technical and administrative preparations in collaboration with the estimating team and project planners. You closely monitor project progress, plan actions, and provide regular reports. You manage the budget and proactively address potential bottlenecks. You prepare progress reports and serve as the main point of contact during site meetings. Safety and quality always come first; you ensure these are maintained on site. You foster good collaboration within the team and among all stakeholders. You coach where needed to bring out the best in everyone. You take the initiative to review what can be improved at the end of projects and share best practices to make future projects run even more smoothly. You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering, or possess equivalent experience that prepares you well for this role. You have at least 5 years of experience as a site manager or junior project manager. Experience in contractor activities is essential, for example with government projects, piping systems and cables, or Standard Specification 250. You are proficient with computers and familiar with MS Office, MS Project, etc. You have excellent command of the Englisch language, knowledge of Dutch or French are a big plus. You remain calm and precise, even when priorities shift or under high workload. You are a true team player and enjoy organizing. Your critical and analytical mindset allows you to understand complex matters, uncover underlying factors, and develop a strategic long-term approach. You are flexible with working hours and have a passion for the field (welding, geotechnics, etc.).
