Are you a true sales hunter with a strong existing network within larger SMEs and larger corporate organisations, a natural commercial drive, and a passion for building new business?
To support the growth of a young, ambitious start-up in the procurement & negotiation space, the Business Developer must take ownership of the full early-stage commercial journey. This isn’t a passive sales role — it’s entrepreneurial, proactive, and strategic.
1. Build and Activate a Strong Lead Pipeline
* Identify target companies (larger SMEs, specific verticals, decision-makers).
* Leverage your existing network to open doors quickly.
* Run structured outreach campaigns (email, LinkedIn, calls).
* Qualify leads based on fit, budget, maturity, and pain points.
2. Bring the Value Proposition to Life
* Translate the offer into clear, compelling messages tailored to SMEs.
* Adapt the pitch depending on sector, company size, and buying maturity.
3. Manage the Sales Cycle End-to-End
* Lead intro calls
* Guide prospects through a ~3-month sales cycle.
* Handle objections, explain ROI, and position the service as a strategic enabler.
* Maintain momentum and follow-ups.

* You have a background in consulting, financial products, or selling complex services
* You are Comfortable approaching and engaging with the C-level of larger SMEs and larger corporate organisations.
* You have a strong existing network in larger SMEs
