We are currently looking for a Regional Communications Manager to join our Americas Regional HR team.
About the Position
We are seeking a strategic, creative, and hands-on communications professional to lead internal and external communications across the Americas region.
This role will be responsible for shaping the regional communications agenda, ensuring that business priorities, transformation initiatives, organizational changes, and people-related topics are translated into clear, consistent, and engaging messages.
The position plays a key role in connecting Global, Regional, and Business Unit teams, while also acting as a strategic communications advisor to the Americas leadership team.
* Own and drive the regional communications agenda and strategy for the Americas.
* Act as a communication bridge between Global, Regional, and Business Unit teams, ensuring alignment while allowing local adaptation.
* Develop regional communication plans, campaigns, messages, toolkits, presentations, FAQs, talking points, and townhall materials.
* Lead and support internal and external communication initiatives related to culture, engagement, transformation, recognition, compliance, talent, and business priorities.
* Advise regional leaders on communication approach, messaging, tone, timing, stakeholder impact, and reputational considerations.
* Support organizational change and transformation initiatives through clear, timely, and effective communication.
* Coordinate internal and external communication channels, including newsletters, intranet/internal platforms, Teams, digital screens, townhalls, social media, and other relevant channels.
* Support crisis communication preparedness, including protocols, key messages, Q&As, holding statements, and communication materials for sensitive situations.
* Partner closely with HR and business leaders on people-related communication, employee engagement, culture, leadership communication, and change management.
* Measure communication effectiveness and use feedback and insights to continuously improve regional communication impact.
Required Profile
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields.
Experience
5–8 years of experience in corporate communications, internal communications, employee communications, or related roles.
* Experience working in a regional or multi-country environment is highly preferred.
* Experience advising senior leaders on communication strategy, executive messaging, stakeholder engagement, and reputation-sensitive matters.
* Experience supporting organizational change, leadership communication, and cross-functional initiatives.
* Experience in operational, industrial, logistics, maritime, transport, or port-related environments is considered a strong plus.
Technical Skills
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint.
* Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop is desirable.
Languages
* Advanced English and Spanish, both spoken and written, are required.
