We are currently recruiting an Operations and Logistics Assistant for one of our clients, a friendly family business, based in Brussels.
Coordinate the transportation of goods via various modes, including road, rail, barge, and container shipping.
Handle negotiations with providers to obtain optimal transport rates.
Act as a liaison with clients, vendors, and logistics partners.
Maintain accurate stock levels and manage inventory records.
Review shipping, customs, and insurance documentation for accuracy.
Audit and validate supplier and logistics invoices.
Prepare and process sales and procurement invoices
Proficiency in French, English, and German is essential; Dutch is a plus.
Skilled in Microsoft Office tools, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Capable of managing pressure and shifting priorities effectively.
