Main Purpose
We're looking for a Finance Manager to join our team in Belgium. As manager of the local finance team, you will play a pivotal role in leading the local finance functions and supporting the operations throughout the region.
Main Responsibilities
1. Take ultimate responsibility for the financial accounts including P&L and Balance Sheet : Prepare and review the monthly accounts, supervise the accounting operations and provide support to ASSC team, collaborate closely with FP&A team on performance analysis
2. Take ultimate accountability for the cash collection, work closely with ASSC team and local PM/Sales Team to ensure reasonable DSO and healthy AR Ageing Balance
3. Play a key role in the collaboration between local team and ASSC, strengthen the communication to ensure timely and accurate financial operations
4. Manage all tax filings and declarations
5. Lead the annual audit in Belgium, and support group audit
6. Manage the local finance team, upholding Acolad cultural values and promoting an environment of support, development, and leadership
7. Identify opportunities for growth, improvement and efficiencies in the finance discipline
8. Continually review systems, processes, and reporting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to suggest ways to minimize loss, enhance controls, and improve profitability
9. Maintain, review and monitor internal controls and ensure the implementation of Gorup's policies and procedures
10. Provide relevant financial insight and support to the local leadership team and participate in key meetings
11. Participate actively in Group's projects and ad hoc assignments
Requirements
Educational Background
12. Master's degree in Finance
Professional Experience
13. Over 5 years of proven experience in Finance
14. Ideally started in an audit firm
15. Followed by a role in financial control within an international group
Skills and Knowledge

16. Strong knowledge of local tax requisites
17. Solid understanding of audit processes
18. Autonomous and proactive, with a strong team-player mindset
19. Excellent ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload
20. Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
21. Good accounting knowledge
22. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
23. Good command of PowerPoint
24. Good knowledge of SAP

25. Fluent in English
