Siemens Smart Infrastructure is looking for a Country Business Unit Finance Manager who will govern the financial management of our Digital Grid Software business for the following assigned countries: Belgium, Netherlands, France and Northern Africa.
Our team focusses on accelerating and securing the energy transition for our customers through a comprehensive portfolio (e.g. Grid Simulation, Grid Control, Metering Data Management, Power Technologies International consulting portfolio).
Key responsibilities
You will rely on your strong commercial project management acumen and take over full P&L responsibility for the assigned countries.
* Responsible for the financial management, accuracy and integrity of all financial records, reports and other finance related tasks;
* Ensure and monitor effective financial Budgeting, forecasting and controlling activities;
* Manage end-to-end Business Administration operations and lead a team of Finance professionals;
* Develop and implement Business models for solution, service and software Business types;
* Support Technical Partners with accurate and reliable finance advice and contribute to overall Siemens Smart Infrastructure Grid Software Business targets;
* Ensure compliant and, where possible standardised, contract management standards in all relevant Business cases (supplier, customer, service providers);
* Drive productivity, continuous process improvements as well as cash conversion;
* Closely collaborate with other Business areas to leverage synergies, where possible.

* External: customer procurement and project teams; suppliers
* Internal: local Smart Infrastructure Business management, Smart Infrastructure Grid Software Zone/Territory Management and support functions, Sales and project delivery teams, cross functional teams, country support functions
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Law or related field
* Advanced knowledge in Commercial Project Management (CPM), certification is an asset
* Ability to drive productivity, continuous process improvement as well as cash conversion
* Extensive experience in financial controlling or finance roles, ideally with experience in a management position with leadership responsibility
* Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting and SAP ERP systems
* Experience in the development of Business plans and Business case assessments
* Advance contract management knowledge and negotiation skills
* Strong intercultural sensitivity and ability to work with diverse international teams
* Ability to distil complex issues into succinct and easily understood language that conveys key messages successfully at all levels of the organisation.
* Proficiency in French and English is essential; knowledge of Dutch is a valuable asset
