currently centralizing finance activities into a shared services model to improve efficiency, standardization, and
scalability. As part of this transformation, key accounting and reporting processes are being migrated from local teams to a centralized Finance Centre of Excellence.
Job Description As a
Freelance Transition Lead - Accounting & SSC Migration
your responsibilities are:
Lead
the
transition
of
general ledger,
accounts
receivable
/
credit management,
and management reporting activities to a centralized finance team
Develop
and
execute
a
structured
transition and stabilization plan
Coordinate process documentation,
training, and
knowledge transfer
between local and central teams
Monitor transition progress,
operational
KPIs,
and
service quality
towards internal stakeholders
Identify risks
or
bottlenecks
and implement corrective actions to ensure smooth operations
Support continuous improvement
initiatives and contribute to process standardization
Act as key liaison between
regional finance
stakeholders and
central shared services leadership
The Successful Applicant As a
Freelance Transition Lead - Accounting & SSC Migration y ou have:
Proven experience
in
finance transformation, shared services migration,
or process centralization initiatives
Strong background
in
general ledger accounting
and transactional finance operations
Good understanding
of
financial reporting
processes and operational finance KPIs
Experience working
with
SAP
Strong stakeholder management and change leadership skills to coach successors
Languages:
English

Flexible, able to work part-time on-site in Belgium
