Arcadis DPS Group is looking for a Mechanical Construction Project Manager to lead complex projects in the waste-to-energy sector. You will coordinate, organize, and communicate across the full project lifecycle, ensuring seamless execution and stakeholder satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesBid & Project PreparationDevelop and implement bid strategies, cost estimations, and procurement plansDefine project baselines, technical solutions, and optimal work sequencesNegotiate contracts with clients and major suppliersIdentify and manage project risks and opportunitiesEnsure a smooth transition from bid to project execution, capturing and applying lessons learnedProject ManagementLead and manage site teams (foremen, welders, pipe fitters)Prepare and execute project and safety plans, WBS, scheduling, and budgetingOversee site setup and logistics; contract and coordinate subcontractorsMonitor planning, progress, and critical paths, ensuring efficiency and transparencyEnsure compliance with HSE plans (work permits, toolbox talks, risk analysis)Manage quality control, contractual obligations, variation orders, and reportingLead project review meetings and close-out, including documentation and lessons learnedOperational ImprovementSupport operational efficiency in invoicing, compliance, subcontractor management, worker evaluation, and documentationContribute to exploring new approaches and best practices for the Boiler Solutions unitYour ProfileProven experience in mechanical high-pressure (boiler) construction projectsStrong knowledge of EN/ASME standards, WPS, QC files, TIG/electrode welding, and EN 12952Track record in project and bid management, quality control, and contractual complianceFluent in French; good command of English and/or Dutch is a plusOrganized, proactive team player with excellent communication skillsInterested in shaping the future of sustainable energy infrastructure?
