SHUTDOWN MANAGER - CCGT

We are seeking an experienced Shutdown Manager to lead the preparation and execution of a major two-month shutdown of a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The role involves managing a multidisciplinary team, coordinating with key contractors, and ensuring compliance with HSE standards, cost control, and scheduling.
The role is based in Marchienne-au-Pont, Belgium and will be on a contract basis for 12 months renewable and the mission will likely come to a close in September 2027.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead shutdown planning and execution across maintenance, upgrades, and project activities.
* Coordinate with turbine and generator contractors for shaft line maintenance.
* Define and implement HSE procedures and audits.
* Manage shutdown documentation, reporting, and feedback processes.
* Oversee budget planning, vendor selection, and scheduling.
Requirements
* Extensive experience in CCGT operations and shutdowns.
* Proven track record in industrial project management.
* Strong background in maintenance and operations.
* Engineering degree (Bac +5 or equivalent).
* Fluent in French and English.
