Voor een wereldleider in pharmaceutische productie in Puurs zoeken wij een distributie expert supply chain. Deze functie vraagt een vlotte kennis van Nederlands en Engels. De functie bestaat uit 2 delen:
At 1st instance the newly hired employee will be replacing an employee with the function of Distribution Expert (Export). The Distribution Expert (Export) is responsible for planning, coordinating and executing outbound transports (raw materials (API) components white stock (semi-finished products) finished products other products), in compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. The Distribution Expert (Export) acts as a link between various stakeholders such as transporters/forwarders, internal teams and customs authorities and thus ensures an efficient, correct and high-quality delivery to final destination. The Distribution Expert (Export) is also responsible for minimizing delays, costs, and risks associated with export activities.
Following are the key day-to-day responsibilities:
Documentation of export shipments in the SAP system and system for manual shipments.
Documenting non-commercial export shipments on behalf of other internal departments.
Booking shipments with carriers/forwarders in order to get the goods to their destination on time according to customer requirements and the internal lead time parameters (OTIF parameter). This includes making arrangements with carriers, freight forwarders, courier companies to pick up these outgoing shipments on time and deliver them to their final destination.
Preparation of legalization documents (Certificates of Origin Form 7 ed.)
(Electronic) filing of invoices, export documents, transport documents and correspondence.
Checking the customs documents for correct content and requesting rectifications if necessary
Checking and approving invoices (forwarders, Chamber of Commerce, etc.) in the VIM system.
Creating ED and AV documents to carry out correct customs declarations in the import and customs systems.
Investigate and document deviations/CAPAs in the 1QEM system in a timely and correct manner.
Processing the daily courier shipments.
In addition, the new employee would also support the import & customs teams in day-to-day operations and would help the whole department with improvements of the current processes (excel-SAP).
We will start the preparations for upgrading SAP to S4/Hana and will also implement GTS and self-filing of customs declarations. The new person will also be involved in this preparational work.
Relevant experience
Proven experience with transport and customs systems
Project experience (SAP/GTS/. )
Education and qualifications
Minimum : Bachelor Expedition or Logistics ( Optimal : Master Expedition or Logistics and 2 years of experience)
Languages
Dutch-English
Competences
Excel-Word-Powerpoint especially good knowledge of excell
SAP knowledge & experience
Good command of MS-Office and fluent with IT systems
High level of dutifulness and dedication (documentation, order, and cleanliness in the workplace)
Team player with strong team spirit
