With a strong focus on safety, innovation, and regulatory compliance, the organisation plays a pivotal role in shaping industry standards and influencing legislation at both European and international levels.Your key responsibilities will include:Communication & RepresentationPromote the external image and reputation of the organisation.Maintain strong relationships with European institutions (e.G. European Commission, EMA), standardisation bodies (ISO, CEN), and other relevant trade associations.Advocate for the industry's position on key legislative and regulatory topics.Coordination & Technical LeadershipMonitor, analyse, and influence European and international legislation and standardisation processes.Participate in and coordinate technical working groups, both internally and externally.Support global harmonisation efforts in collaboration with international partners.Strategic & Operational LeadershipAssist in managing the organisation's resources and systems.Contribute to the development and review of technical publications.Prepare and present industry positions to competent authorities and standardisation bodies.Support the organisation of seminars, meetings, and events.Extensive experience in a senior technical or management role within the industrial gases sector.Strong understanding of gas technologies and regulatory frameworks is an asset (but not mandatory)Proven ability to work independently and travel frequently (up to 50%).Fluency in English (written and spoken); other European languages are a plus.Strategic role with high visibility across the European and international industrial gases sector.Opportunity to work with leading experts and institutions.Dynamic and autonomous position combining technical leadership, external representation, and strategic coordination.Competitive compensation package.Flexible working arrangements with regular presence in Brussels (no daily commute required).
