Omega CRM Consulting is looking for a Senior Data Engineer that would like to collaborate with one of the top global pharmaceutical companies.
The ideal candidate will have a very strong background in data engineering, with a particular focus on pipeline orchestration and DBT administration to help us build and maintain robust data transformations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain DBT models and data transformation pipelines.
* Oversee the orchestration of data pipelines, ensuring seamless integration and data flow across various systems.
* Administer and manage DBT projects, including version control, testing, and documentation.
* Collaborate with data analysts to provide top data solutions.
* Optimize and troubleshoot existing DBT models for performance and accuracy.
* Implement best practices for DBT administration, including security, scalability, and reliability.
* Stay tuned with the latest progress in DBT.
Requirements:
* Proven experience with DBT and data transformation.
* Strong SQL and Python skills applied on top of Snowflake.
* Familiarity with pipeline orchestration tools like Airflow.
* Experience with version control systems like Git or Bitbucket.
* Familiarity with other cloud solutions like AWS or Azure
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and collaborative skills.
Qualifications:
* Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics Degrees are welcome.
* Business Intelligence, Analytics Masters, DBT, Snowflake and Data Vault certifications as well.
