About our client


Our client is a tech scale-up developing a transport management system (TMS) that simplifies administrative processes and optimizes planning for logistics companies. With offices in London and Ghent, they aim to make the transport industry more efficient, profitable, and sustainable. To support their growth, they are looking for a business development manager in Belgium to help expand their presence in this market. This scale-up is achieving year-on-year exponential growth, making it a major opportunity for ambitious professionals in SaaS business development!


What you’ll be doing

* Own the sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals.
* Hunt for new leads via calls, emails, networking events, meetings, and industry fairs. You will travel across Belgium, particularly Flanders, to meet clients and give product demonstrations.
* Build strong partnerships with key players in the sector to drive cross sales and increase brand awareness.
* Develop creative strategies to shorten sales cycles and reach ambitious targets.
* Understand client needs, objectives, and challenges, and stay informed about competitors.
* Work closely with other teams and manage your sales pipeline through HubSpot.


Your profile

* 3-5 years of experience in a sales-driven role with a proactive, hunter mindset.
* Customer-focused, energetic, persistent, and driven by results.
* Tech-savvy, with SaaS sales experience considered a strong advantage.
* International mindset and willingness to travel to meet clients in person.
* Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment, motivated to help the company grow.
* Team player who values collective success.
* Strong relationship-building skills, both internally and externally.
* Fluent in Dutch and English, French is a nice to have!
* Valid driver’s license required.
