Job Title: Technical Architect - ServiceNow Location: Belgium (Brussels) Work Model: Hybrid (2-3 days/week onsite) Employment Type: Full-time Job Category: Technology & Engineering About the role As a Technical Architect for ServiceNow, you will define and lead the technical architecture for complex ServiceNow implementations, ensuring scalability, security, and optimal performance. You will collaborate with global teams and stakeholders to translate business objectives into actionable architectural blueprints, enforce governance, and mentor technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions. In this role, you will: Own the end-to-end technical architecture for the ServiceNow platform. Lead design and development of High-Level and Low-Level Designs for complex implementations. Establish and enforce technical governance processes and best practices. Conduct technical risk assessments and ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements. Design secure, high-performance integration patterns and govern data architecture (CMDB, CSDM). Act as the ultimate technical escalation point for architectural and performance challenges. Mentor Solution Architects and Developers, fostering technical excellence. Present technical strategies and platform roadmaps to stakeholders, including C-suite executives. Support pre-sales activities, including scoping and statement of work preparation. What you need to have to be considered: Minimum 8 years of hands-on ServiceNow experience, with 3-5 years as Platform or Enterprise Architect. Deep expertise across ServiceNow core platform and major application suites (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM). Strong technical skills in platform security, scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript), data modeling, and integrations. Experience with Flow Designer, NOW Experience, Service Portal, ATF, Integration Hub, NowAssist, and NowCreate. Proven track record of architecting large-scale, global ServiceNow deployments. Fluent in English and Dutch. These will help you stand out: Certified Application Developer (CAD) and multiple CIS certifications (ITSM, HRSD, ITOM). Familiarity with TOGAF and ITIL frameworks. Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies. Additional European language skills.
