1. Preparation and wet chemistry analyses of raw material and finished product malt samples.
2. Ensuring preparation and analytical procedures and associated tasks are conducted in accordance with Boortmalt Standard Methods
3. Participation in laboratory proficiency testing schemes
4. Calibration and maintenance of analytical instrumentation and their accessories
5. Highlighting anomalies in results and sample type/behaviour and undertaking subsequent investigations
6. Management of reporting, record keeping and investigations of non-conformances
7. Ensuring compliance with Boortmalt Good Laboratory Practices
8. Ensuring compliance with Boortmalt EHS requirements and required training
Master recherché
9. Degree, preferable higher degree in agriculture, food science, chemistry or related discipline.

11. Ability to quickly respond to and resolve issues
