Your roleRegulatory ComplianceMonitor, assess, and advise on compliance with relevant laws and regulations (PSD2, GDPR, AML/CFT, etc.).Stay updated on regulatory changes and interpret their impact on our business.Report compliance posture to management and the board.Act as Data Protection Officer .Establish and maintain relationships with regulators.Monitoring ComplianceLead compliance projects and perform regular risk assessments.Evaluate controls, implement mitigation strategies, and oversee audits.Review processes, transactions, and records to identify gaps or violations.Documentation & AwarenessFoster a culture of compliance across the organization.Develop and deliver training programs for employees.Maintain clear, accessible compliance records for audits and regulatory reviews.Present compliance status and recommendations to management and the board.
Candidate ProfileMaster's degree in Law, Economics, or Finance .7–10+ years of relevant experience (not limited to KYC/AML).Deep knowledge of PSD2, GDPR, AML/CFT, and payment services regulations.Ability to operate independently and act as the internal reference for compliance matters.Strong communication skills – able to report and advise C-level effectively.Fluent in Dutch, French, and English .Fit & Proper assessment by the National Bank of Belgium will apply.
