What is Collector's Needle?
Collector's Needle is a premium storytelling platform documenting tattoo as a lasting art form. We produce long-form documentary episodes, artist stories, studio/workshop films, and event/convention coverage.
We also create fast, creative social formats such as Reels/Shorts, teasers, and cutdowns.
We are hiring a creative, proactive editor to own post-production end-to-end, from raw footage to final master, working closely with the production team.

* S-Gamut.Cine/S-Log3
* Preferred Software: DaVinci Resolve
Primary focus
* Editing offline/online (audio/color/delivery). Motion design is part of the role.
Note: Adobe (Premiere/After Effects) users are welcome to apply; however, DaVinci Resolve candidates will be prioritized.
Key Responsibilities
* Long-form documentary editing: structure, pacing, clarity, tone
* Social cutdowns: strong hooks, pacing, platform-ready edits (16:9 / 9:16 / 1:1)
* Audio cleanup + mix (DaVinci Fairlight)
* Color correction + grading (Resolve Color)
* Motion graphics / motion design: titles, lower thirds, info cards, graphic packages (Fusion and/or After Effects)
Workflow discipline
* Media management, proxies, backups, versioning, delivery packages
Delivery: YouTube masters + social versions + archive masters (SRT/subtitles when needed)
Requirements
* Able to finish projects independently end-to-end
* Strong command of DaVinci Resolve across Edit + Color + Fairlight
* Long-form storytelling + short-form social editing capability
* Creative, proactive, solution-oriented, strong ownership mindset
* Strong visual taste in motion design and typography timing
* Structured Workflow: folder standards, version control, reliable backups
* Legal right to work in Belgium + valid passport (travel-ready when required)
Education
* Degree from a media/film/TV school or a related program (or equivalent proven professional experience)
Language
* Professional English required. Dutch and/or French is a plus.
Nice to Have
* Sensitivity to documentary / TV / broadcast standards
* Camera operating experience (to support when needed)
* Familiarity with SRT/subtitle standards and delivery checklists
