Service Description
As an IoT Developer, you will support and contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of Internet of Things (IoT) solutions within the organization.You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to identify IoT requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful deployment and integration of IoT technologies. The role involves hands-on work with IoT devices, sensors, connectivity protocols, data analytics tools, and cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities1. Assist in the Design and Development of IoT SolutionsCollaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for IoT projects.Contribute to the design and architecture of IoT systems, including device selection, connectivity options, and data flow.Develop proof-of-concept prototypes to validate feasibility and functionality of IoT solutions.2. Support Implementation and Deployment of IoT ProjectsInstall, configure, and test IoT devices, sensors, and gateways.Ensure secure and reliable connectivity of IoT devices to network infrastructure.Assist in integrating IoT solutions with existing systems and applications.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to IoT deployments.3. Conduct Research and Stay Up to Date with IoT TrendsMonitor advancements in IoT technologies, industry standards, and best practices.Evaluate new tools, platforms, and frameworks for IoT development.Provide recommendations on emerging IoT trends and their potential impact.4. Collaborate with Cross-Functional TeamsWork closely with software developers, data scientists, and network engineers to ensure seamless integration and interoperability of IoT systems.Participate in meetings to gather requirements and provide technical insights.5. Documentation and ReportingCreate technical documentation including system design specifications, user guides, and standard operating procedures.Generate reports and communicate project status, challenges, and recommendations to stakeholders.
RequirementsGood level of Dutch and/or French and English is required.Strong understanding of IoT concepts, architectures, and protocols.Knowledge of IoT-related platforms such as: Azure IoT, Kafka, MongoDB, KubernetesFull Stack Development experience.Experience with IoT device integration, data collection, and analytics.Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, MQTT).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.Ability to quickly adapt and learn new technologies.
