A medior-level .NET and Python developer is required to support ongoing application development and integration initiatives within a major European energy-sector organization. The consultant will work within existing teams to build and maintain high‑quality solutions, following internal development standards and ensuring robust, maintainable code.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain backend and full‑stack components using .NET 8 and Python.
* Work with relational and non-relational databases, including SQL Server and MongoDB.
* Implement and maintain asynchronous communication using RabbitMQ.
* Ensure code quality, maintainability, security, and adherence to internal development standards.
* Collaborate with analysts, developers, and operational teams.
* Take ownership of assigned tasks and participate in team ceremonies.
Qualifications
Required Technical Skills
* Strong hands-on experience with .NET 8.
* Proficiency in Python.
* Solid knowledge of SQL Server.
* Experience with MongoDB.
* Experience using RabbitMQ or similar messaging technologies.
Soft Skills
* Strong communication skills.
* Accountability and ownership of deliverables.
Languages
Candidates must be fluent in English and possess one of the following language combinations:
* Fluent French with passive understanding of Flemish, or
* Fluent Flemish with passive understanding of French.
