The role is based in Belgium and focuses on leading and developing one operational business unit with a combination of people leadership, operational excellence, and commercial responsibility. /ppYou will take ownership of a multi-disciplinary team and play a key role in driving performance, growth, and customer satisfaction. /ph3Team and reporting /h3pYou will join the Belgian organization of Eurofins, a global leader in analytical and testing services. You will be responsible for a Business Unit of approximately 25 FTE, consisting of operational teams and commercial support functions. You will report directly to senior leadership and collaborate with operations, sales, and technical stakeholders across the organization. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliTake full ownership of the operational and financial performance of the Business Unit. /liliLead, coach, and develop a team of operational and support profiles, ensuring strong engagement and performance. /liliDrive business growth by identifying opportunities and supporting commercial activities. /liliAct as a key point of contact for customers, handling discussions and building long-term relationships. /liliMonitor and steer KPIs, targets, and performance metrics in a structured and data-driven way. /liliOptimize processes, planning, and resource allocation to improve efficiency and productivity. /liliCollaborate cross-functionally to unlock synergies and support broader business objectives. /liliContribute to budgeting and business planning, with exposure to (and development in) PL management. /liliFoster a results-oriented culture, focused on accountability and continuous improvement. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3pbAre you our kind of extraordinary? /b /ppYou are a driven and pragmatic leader with a strong operational mindset and the ambition to grow into a broader business role. /ppbYour profile includes: /b /pulliExperience in an operational leadership role (e.g. operations, production, logistics, manufacturing, or similar). /liliA hands-on approach and ability to manage teams in a dynamic, multi-site or field-based environment. /liliInterest in or initial exposure to commercial activities; comfortable engaging with customers. /liliUnderstanding of business performance metrics (KPIs, revenue, margins); experience with PL is a plus. /liliKnowledge and experience of Operational Excellence; application of LEAN. /liliStrong analytical and organizational skills; comfortable working with numbers and targets. /liliA results-driven mindset with a strong sense of ownership. /liliProven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams. /liliA proactive attitude and the ability to turn challenges into opportunities. /li /ulh3Education /h3ulliDegree in Business, Science, Engineering, or a related field (flexible). /li /ulh3Languages /h3ulliDutch (mandatory) /liliFrench and English are a plus /li /ulh3Location /h3ulliBelgium /li /ulh3Additional Information /h3pWe support your development.
