Description
* Draft presentations, proposals, and submissions for specialized directories (Chambers, Legal 500);
* Conduct market analyses as well as studies on clients, competitors, and pricing strategies;
* Manage and update databases (CRM, presentation library, client lists);
* Identify business opportunities based on market trends;
* Contribute to the business development strategy by adopting a pragmatic, operational, and execution-focused approach;
* Support the Communications Advisor by drafting intranet news, LinkedIn posts, web content, invitations, and marketing materials;
* Help organize events in collaboration with the Events Coordinator;
* Translate technical information into simple, concrete, and action-oriented messages;
* Provide general support to the business development department;
* Be able to take on certain responsibilities in the absence of a team member.
Your profile
* Has between 3 and 6 years of professional experience, preferably gained at a law firm or in a business development role within a legal environment;
* Is fluent in English and Dutch, with a good understanding of French;
* May be a lawyer looking to transition into business development or a business development consultant;
* Has held a position as a project manager or account manager, with a strong focus on writing;
* Demonstrates a strong affinity for the legal sector, showing an understanding of the issues and challenges in this field;
* Is proficient in business development, analysis, and execution;
* Has sufficient knowledge of French for internal communication, without requiring fluency;
* Is fully proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
* Experience with customer relationship management systems would be an asset;
* Possesses excellent writing skills, a crucial requirement for the position;
* Is sociable and has strong communication skills, being comfortable interacting with lawyers and various stakeholders;
* Is enthusiastic, positive, and full of energy;
* Takes a proactive approach, works independently while valuing teamwork;
* Is resilient under stress and manages pressure effectively;
