#Wanted: Commercial Legal Counsel

Your function
As part of the Legal & Compliance team, you will act as a trusted advisor on a wide range of commercial legal matters, directly supporting the business in real estate transactions and project development. You will work closely with colleagues across departments to enable legally sound and commercially efficient outcomes.
* Advise on the legal aspects of real estate transactions, partnerships, and commercial operations
* Draft, review and negotiate a broad variety of contracts including service agreements, commercial leases, construction and supplier contracts
* Support the business in handling pre-litigation and litigation matters, working with external counsel where needed
* Provide guidance on corporate housekeeping and ensure compliance with applicable laws and internal policies
* Create, maintain and implement legal templates and internal guidelines
* Contribute to the development of a compliance culture and the roll-out of compliance policies
* Monitor relevant legal developments and proactively manage legal risks in real estate projects
Your profile
* Master's degree in law from a Belgian university
* 4–8 years of relevant experience in a law firm or in-house, preferably with exposure to real estate, construction or commercial law
* Excellent command of Dutch and French, with good knowledge of English
* Business-minded and solution-oriented approach
* Strong drafting and negotiation skills
* Resilient, autonomous and efficient in managing priorities
* Team player with strong interpersonal communication skills
