Chapman Tate Associates are working with a leading international enterprise to source an experienced Configuration & Asset Manager for an outside IR35 contract engagement. This is a hybrid role based in Luxembourg. You’ll play a key role in shaping and governing Configuration and Asset Management practices within a large-scale, enterprise IT environment. We are seeking a Configuration & Asset Management Specialist to design, implement, and oversee best-practice frameworks for managing IT assets and configuration items (CIs) across the full lifecycle. This includes ensuring data integrity, process compliance, and traceability within a structured CMDB environment. Key Responsibilities: Define, implement, and evolve processes for Configuration and Asset Management in collaboration with technical teams. Govern and maintain the CMDB and IT asset inventories across software, hardware, networking, and cloud infrastructure. Establish and maintain baseline standards for configuration and asset data, ensuring alignment with internal governance policies. Perform audits, data quality checks, and risk assessments to ensure consistency and regulatory alignment. Support integration with IT operations and change management functions to reinforce cross-functional compliance. Deliver training and documentation to internal stakeholders on asset/configuration best practices. Maintain strong collaboration with infrastructure, cloud, and operations teams to ensure traceability and lifecycle oversight. Experience & Skills Required: 5 years’ experience in IT Configuration and Asset Management, ideally within enterprise environments. Deep understanding of CMDB and Asset Management platforms in ServiceNow Familiarity with managing environments using: vCenter Cisco DNA MCEM RedHat and Solaris Azure Cloud SQL for data validation and query work Strong process-oriented mindset with attention to data accuracy and compliance. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to operate across multidisciplinary teams.
