Your Opportunity The Product Support Engineer will be responsible for supporting our electromechanical product internally and externally. The role includes responsibilities across the lifecycle of the product from assembly, testing, deployment, training and service. How You Will Contribute Work with the Lead Product Engineer to plan for product deployments including gathering information to ensure successful operation for each customer and validating product is set up correctly according to individual account needs. Commission the product at customer sites and provide training. This includes updating and creating training materials. Provide preventative maintenance and warranty service, including troubleshooting and repairs, in the office and at customer sites. Write detailed site visit reports after customer visits and input relevant data in our logs and customer records. This includes documenting insights gathered that can be used to inform product improvements and innovation efforts. Communicate with sales partners, customers and 3rd parties to organize installations and resolve issues. Work with the product develop and manufacturing teams to document and implement product and process improvements, diagnose product performance issues, recommend solutions and work arounds based on a deep understanding of the product and customer needs. Who You Are Engineering Tech degree or equivalent training/experience The ability to ensure product success at dynamic customer sites from initial installation to troubleshooting to service in Macau. The ability to travel if needed. (primarily within Macau and broader APAC region.) Attention to detail and ability to produce basic reports and technical documents. A comfort level working both alone and in small teams. A working knowledge of mechanical and electromechanical engineering principles. Familiarity with manufacturing and assembly principles of PCBs and injection molded plastics is a plus Technical aptitude with electronics. Superior verbal and written communication skills.
