A human-scale, collaborative project centered around people, TheMerode aims to foster exchanges, connections, and the emergence of new ideas within a vibrant and inspiring community.MissionThe Social Media Content Manager plays a key operational role in shaping and amplifying TheMerode’s digital presence. Their primary mission is to create, produce, and manage engaging content across all social media platforms, ensuring consistency, creativity, and alignment with the Club’s identity.Working autonomously on day-to-day execution, they collaborate closely with the Head of Communication to support key moments, strategic campaigns, and brand positioning.Responsibilities1. Content Strategy & Editorial PlanningDevelop and manage a 360° editorial calendar aligned with the Club’s programming and communication priorities.Ensure consistency of tone, storytelling, and visual identity across all platforms.Anticipate key moments, events, and announcements to maximize visibility and engagement.2. Content Creation & ProductionCreate and publish content for social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.).Produce high-quality photo and video content (events, speakers, atmosphere, lifestyle at TheMerode), primarily using an iPhone.Capture the essence and energy of the Club through authentic, engaging, and on-brand content.Collaborate with external photographers and videographers when needed.3. Event CoverageEnsure live coverage of Club events through stories, posts, and short-form video content.Coordinate with external creatives when applicable to deliver high-quality event content.Translate offline experiences into compelling digital storytelling.4. Social Media Management & Community EngagementManage day-to-day operations of all social media channels (posting, scheduling, stories).Monitor performance and ensure regular, consistent activity across platforms.Lead community management: respond to messages, comments, and interactions in a timely and brand-aligned manner.Foster engagement and strengthen the sense of community online.5. Collaboration & Continuous ImprovementWork closely with the Head of Communication to align on key campaigns, messaging, and brand positioning.Contribute ideas to enhance content formats, engagement strategies, and platform growth.Stay up to date with social media trends, tools, and best practices.Required SkillsProven experience in social media content creation and management (mid-level /senior operational role).Strong creative eye and storytelling ability, with attention to detail and brand consistency.Hands-on experience with mobile content production (photo/video, especially on iPhone).Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn) and content formats.Strong understanding of community management and audience engagement.Organized, autonomous, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Dynamic, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.Fluency in French and English (Dutch is a plus).If you are ready to shape the communication landscape at TheMerode Private Members Club, please apply via LinkedIn or by email at hr@profirst.com.
