This role strengthens a datacenter-focused operations team responsible for a robust, DevOps-driven infrastructure landscape. The position centers on managing and optimizing storage, virtualization, backup, and container platforms in close collaboration with fellow system administrators. You will contribute to both day-to-day reliability and continuous improvement of critical infrastructure services.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and optimize IT infrastructure with focus on storage, virtualization, and backup management
* Implement and maintain automation and configuration management for Linux-based environments
* Operate and improve CI/CD pipelines supporting infrastructure and platform delivery
* Manage container platforms and virtualized environments used across multiple projects
* Perform performance testing, troubleshooting, and infrastructure setup
* Advise on scaling strategies and infrastructure tuning to ensure optimal performance
What are we looking for?
* You have 3+ years of experience as a System Administrator managing and maintaining IT infrastructure
* You bring 3+ years of hands-on experience with automation and configuration management using
Puppet
and
Ansible
* You have 3+ years of experience working with CI/CD tooling such as
Jenkins
* You have 3+ years of experience with virtualization technologies, specifically
VMware
* You have 3+ years of experience managing Linux-based servers using
Red Hat (RHEL)
or
Debian
* You have 3+ years of experience with container technologies such as
Nomad

Kubernetes

OpenShift
* You have 3+ years of experience working in an education or research environment
* You possess system-level expertise in at least one specialist domain such as
Linux/Unix
