The Undergraduate Recruitment and Admissions Office is searching for a creative, independent, and dynamic individual to fill the position of Assistant Manager.
The appointee will support the Manager in developing marketing strategies and implementing marketing campaigns and events to support the University's undergraduate recruitment efforts in local and overseas markets. This position will necessitate work beyond standard office hours.
The appointee is expected to perform the following duties:
Plan and execute marketing campaigns that create a positive brand image and benefit the University's admissions. Report on and analyze campaign performance, and derive insights to optimize future results.
Manage social media channels like Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, creating engaging content for diverse audiences local and worldwide. Supervise and guide a team of student content creators to produce high-quality content in Chinese and English for websites, social media, emails, events, and other marketing materials.
Event management and coordination including the Info Day for UG admissions, which involve supervising service providers and student helpers, liaising with internal and external units, and managing stakeholders to ensure smooth event preparation and operation.
Create graphics, videos, and animations for digital media advertising, including social posts, eDMs, and banners. Knowledge of multimedia tools, such as Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Canva, is preferred.
Develop and produce marketing collateral including brochures, presentation slides, souvenirs and other promotional materials for admissions and branding promotion.
Assist in recruitment events coordination and admissions projects wherever necessary.
Applicants should have a bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of post-qualification work experience, preferably in digital marketing, event management, project management, or related fields. Having experience in the higher education industry with coordinating campus event would be an added advantage.
The successful candidate is expected to be a strong team player with an excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese. The candidate should be proactive and passionate about event planning, highly organized and detail-oriented, quick to learn, and possess the ability to work under deadline pressure while multitasking. The candidate should also feel comfortable interacting with diverse stakeholders, including external and internal parties, student ambassadors, and prospective students from around the world. Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
