Embedded Hardware Engineer
Mission:
Within a project / product team, you will be required, in the context of firing systems or smart ammunitions, to specify, design, develop and validate and test embedded electronics hardware and software.
Main Responsibilities:
Support the preparation of product Statement of Work (SOW).
* You will be responsible for the design of the products assigned to you, ensuring that the development and validity of the products are compliant with the whole architecture of the solutions.
* Produce technical documentation such as electronics Hardware Description Document (HDD) and requirement documents, and Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTM).
* Management and monitoring of subcontracted tasks.
* Contribute actively to the integration and validation phases in coordination with the IVVQ team.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (mechanical, energetic materials, operations, prototyping, and software teams).
* Participate in design and industrialization reviews.
* Participate in technical support missions during product development phases, whether at our customers and/or suppliers, internally or externally.
Provide technical support to the Project Manager for the monitoring of costs, development schedules and associated technical reporting.
Analyze and correct defects/issues that have been identified during the various phases of development.
Setup and validate proof of concepts by building electronic breadboards / development board before integration of the final design.
Job Qualifications
a) Required level of studies and experience
* Master in Electronical Engineering or relevant experience equivalent.
* You have at least 5 years of experience designing embedded solutions: electronic cards and software development.
b) Knowledge and skills
1. You have experience in communication interfaces/protocols (CAN, UART, SPI, I2C, TCP/IP, MIL-STD-1553 / MIL-STD-1790) and good experience in an electronic lab environment
2. You have experience with power electronics, high frequency electronics, analog/digital electronics, PCB schematics and assembly.
3. You have experience with Oscilloscopes/logic analysers and LTspice.
4. You speak English and French (spoken and written)
As a plus,
* you have experience of computer vision, artificial intelligence, cyber security, drone
* you have experience in reverse engineering embedded systems.

Given the nature of the role and access to sensitive data, the candidate must be able to obtain a security clearance under the Law of 11 December 1998. Applicants will be subject to a screening process by the National Security Authority (NSA).
