As Learning & Development Instructional Designer, the consultant will play a key role in translating digital skill needs into engaging and impactful learning journeys. The consultant will design, develop and implement training tracks that support the digital transformation, while ensuring alignment between business needs, group initiatives, and the academy (internal learning HUB) operating model. The consultant will collaborate closely with program stakeholders, analysts, subject-matter experts, and learning partners to ensure learning solutions are impactful, scalable, and sustainable.
Responsibilities
* Design, develop and implement blended learning tracks (classroom, elearning,...) aligned with Digital Upskilling priorities.
* Translate learning needs analyses and identified skill gaps into clear learning objectives and structured learning paths.
* Determine the most appropriate learning formats, balancing build vs. reuse of existing content, integrating external and internal learning solutions where relevant.
* Safeguard didactic quality, coherence, and learner engagement across learning solutions.
* Follow-up on learning progress and completion rates and contribute to the evaluation of training effectiveness and impact.
* Ensure alignment between local initiatives and group offerings, avoiding duplication and fragmentation.
* Act as a bridge between strategic priorities and operational execution.
Collaborate closely with
* The Project Analyst responsible for baseline assessments and learning needs analyses
* Business content owners and subject-matter experts
* The academy for governance, planning, and implementation.
Requirements
* You have more than 5 years of experience in designing effective learning journeys, using a blended approach (classroom learning, digital learning, microlearning, mobile learning, etc.).
* You are fluent in Dutch and French and English.
* You have solid experience in using an LMS (e.g. SAP SuccessFactors) as an administrator in order to understand its possibilities and the logic behind it.
* You have strong instructional design and didactic skills (classroom & digital).
* You juggle the concepts, tools and techniques of not only effective learning and development methods, but also project management, communication and change management.
* You are a passionate educator; the satisfaction of your internal customers is essential for you.
* You like to work in a team, with businesses or external partners and can easily build relationships of trust with them.
* You dare to challenge business requirements with the goal to create impact.
* You are organized and manage your priorities effectively
* You have experience working in large, complex organisations with multiple stakeholders.
* You are comfortable operating at both strategic and operational level.
