We are currently looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join major industrial and construction projects. In this role, you will play a key part in the commercial and cost control management of the project, ensuring accurate quantity measurement, effective change order management, and reliable works accounting in accordance with contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform detailed quantity take-offs based on the latest IFC (Issued For Construction) drawings and evaluate works according to the contractual unit rates and pricing structure.
* Identify, prepare, and manage change orders in line with contractual terms and project procedures.
* Manage works accounting and cost tracking to ensure accurate project financial monitoring.
* Support the commercial management of the project, ensuring that all work performed is properly measured, recorded, and valued.
* Work closely with project managers, site teams, and EPC clients to ensure transparency and alignment on quantities and costs.
* Maintain accurate documentation and reporting related to quantities, variations, and project costs.
* Ensure all commercial activities are fully compliant with contract frameworks and project requirements.
Your Profile
* 5–8 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor within industrial or construction projects.
* Previous experience working with a construction company or contractor is strongly preferred.
* A technical diploma or engineering degree (Industrial, Management, Electrical, or equivalent).
* Experience working with EPC clients and complex project environments.
* Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost control, and variation management.
* Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
* Proficient with MS Office, particularly Excel for quantity and cost tracking.
* Fluent in English; knowledge of Italian is a plus.
* Able to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary project environment.
